Rejoinder--» Life is All about survival of the fittest

{An interpretation of the phrase "survival of the fittest" to mean "only the fittest organisms will prevail". Any individual organism which succeeds in reproducing itself is "fit"}

I read through Ayobami Sholola's "#ThinkingOutLoud - My Perspective on Life" It was quite inspiring like most of my oga's posts. Clearly, I agree with almost everything he said. From the concept of being an onlooker to being a difference maker, he made some great points.

One thing that stood out from the post and which I do not agree with is when he wrote, "Life to me is not about the survival of the fittest". He described the difference maker as "those with a passion to be different, to do something new, they have visions,  they have purpose, they are goal setters, they aim to  meet the targets that’s been set," they were "warriors" "overcomers" men who have almost  gotten to the pinnacle of their lives. Like he said "They are everywhere but yet scarce". Sounds cool? Yes; it does. But my question is, why are they scarce? Why don't we have them in abundance? Oh, before you rush to crucify me, ask yourself, how does one become outstanding among the crowd?

That's All CVs

So before you e-mail in your neatly word processed résumé, you might want to pause and read this piece before you go ahead.

Don’t Just Write Curriculum Vitae — Build a Reputation

If you’re an entrepreneur or freelancer, you might take for it granted that actions speak louder than curriculum vitae, and it’s down to you to build a reputation that precedes you and attracts business opportunities. Even if you’re looking for a job, the most creative and inspiring employers (i.e. the kind you want to work for) will expect you to be doing the same.

How can you build a reputation that precedes you?

#ThinkingOutLoud - My Perspective on Life by Ayobami Sholola

A man who views the world the same at fifty as he did at twenty has wasted thirty years of his life - Muhammad Ali

It is just that we should be grateful, not only to those with whose views we may agree, but also to those who have expressed more superficial views; for these also contributed something, by developing before us the powers of thought - Aristotle

Famuyide Olawale: In Search Of Me

Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation
― Oscar Wilde

Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armour yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you
― George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones

Last week, I saw a movie titled ‘Identity Thief’. It is a comedy movie and I laughed so hard. A day after it, the movie title flashed across my mind and it dawned on me that I have also been in Diana’s (Melissa McCarthy) shoe, well with the exception of stealing credit card (lol) but she lost herself while trying to be someone else. In the post below, you are likely to come across ME....well my semi old self. Don't worry, I’m improving daily. *smiles*

Your Perspective of Your Problem Is Your Problem

"As a matter of fact, in most cases, the problem is not the problem; the problem is the person confronting the problem. Let this sink into your mind. Write it clearly where you can see it:
life is about perspectives. It is about how you see things that happen to you and not so much about the things that happen to you.

Remember,
